Tŷ Mawr is a working grassland beef cattle farm located on the outskirts of the village of Eglwysbach – where four generations of the same family have worked on the land for 100 years. The farming family want to build holiday pods into the side of a North Wales hillside which will help support the long term sustainability of the Conwy Valley farm enterprise.
The tourist sustainable luxury accommodation which includes five pods, four one bedroom and one two-bedroom holiday units, has been designed to look like they are built into the hillside with the roofs covered in soil, shrubbery and grasses seamlessly blending into the surrounding landscape.
The project is currently at pre-planning consultation. Cadnant Planning Ltd has been commissioned to undertake the pre-application consultation (PAC). Anyone who wishes to make representations about this proposed development must do so by 15 February 2022 and can click here.
