Lester Korzilius, Director of Ellis Williams Architect’s London studio, has recently been notified of a huge personal honour as he has been elevated to Fellowship of The American Institute of Architects (AIA). Lester has been active with the AIA over many years and is currently serving as Secretary on the International Region.
The AIA Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to Fellowship not only recognises the achievements of the architect as an individual but also honours before the public and the profession a model architect who has made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.
Lester will attend a formal investiture at the AIA National convention in May in Philadelphia.
Julian Baker, Ellis Williams Managing Director commented: “We are delighted Lester has been awarded this highly prestigious honour; it is a testament to the fantastic work, skills and commitment he has given to the profession and the AIA over many years.”
