The new Northampton Cathedral Centre, comprising flexible spaces for meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events, will soon be starting on site. The project also includes the conversion of a Grade II Listed Coach House to a Cathedral Café.
The Cathedral currently has no facilities to provide accommodation and refreshments for either Diocesan or Parish events, which seriously impairs its ability to serving the needs of the parish and local community.
The new Cathedral Centre building is designed to complement the existing Cathedral House, sitting behind the existing Coach House and framing the garden with minimal impact.
